Planning a Gap Year

Stuff happens, things change. We finish matric, we graduate, jobs change or fall away. We lose people, we get older, unexpected health challenges arise, life is glorious or life is tough.

Do you have a Plan B for aspects of your life in 2025?

This week, I am focusing on matrics or graduates who need to plan a Gap Year. The groundwork is critical: building on your skills as a competitive candidate, getting documents and a CV together, doing the right training (au pair/TEFL/ barista/ waiter/ bartender/ first aid certification) knowing what work can be applied for locally and internationally, applying in the right way and utilising the companies that help.
